Description
INC 125 F digital incubator is a forced-air laboratory incubator for precise temperature control in microbiological applications up to 100 °C. Pre-warmed air enters the chamber to deliver rapid, stable and uniform heating. With a 125-litre capacity—the largest volume in its class—it holds up to six shelves at once. The working range is RT +8 °C to 100 °C with temperature constancy and homogeneity of ±0,3 K. Electronically adjustable fan speed (0–100 %) and ventilation flap (0–100 %) fine-tune internal air circulation, while strong insulation supports efficient temperature management. An inner glass door allows sample observation without temperature loss. Rounded corners and smooth AISI 304 surfaces ease cleaning; a 120 °C decontamination mode helps reduce cross-contamination. A large LCD display plus counter, timer and temperature-controlled timer functions aid reproducible conditions. Up to two units can be stacked with accessories; the right-hand door hinge is reversible on request. IQ/OQ documentation is available on request from manufacturer IKA. Supplied as one unit, net weight 66,000 kg.
This article is part of Incubators, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about INC 125 F digital, Incubator
What is this article?
INC 125 F digital, Incubator is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Incubators, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
An incubator holds the mild, even temperature a culture needs, often 25 °C or 37 °C, sometimes with carbon dioxide. It is not a drying oven. Uniformity and, for cells, the gas control are the specification. A flask of cells in a drying oven is a dead flask.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
