Description

Incubation mantle in stainless steel for reliable tempering of samples in a 150 ml Schott tall-form beaker. The double-walled jacket is manufactured to fit DWK (DURAN®) beakers and laboratory bottles and can also be used without a sample vessel. Approximate inner diameter is 55 mm and mantle height about 65 mm. Hose olives enable connection to external temperature-control circuits, while the design without a fixed base allows operation with magnetic stirrers and quick vessel exchange. Controlled tempering of reactions is supported for laboratory and production use. Suitable beaker reference includes DURAN® art. 112111629 (150 ml, tall form). Insulation and tempered-base options must be ordered together with the mantle and are not retrofittable; a flat non-tempered base can be supplied from the factory. This stainless-steel incubation jacket from manufacturer Landgraf HLL pairs with circulating coolers or heating/cooling thermostats matched to the required temperature range for stable process control.

Questions about Incubation jacket, stainless steel, for 150 ml Schott beaker h.F.

What is this article?

Incubation jacket, stainless steel, for 150 ml Schott beaker h.F. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Beakers, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.

A beaker is an open, straight-sided working vessel with a spout. It is for dissolving, heating and pouring. The graduations are a guide, not a volumetric calibration. Low form and tall form differ in stability and in how easily a liquid splashes.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
