Description

Culture cultivation device (Jumo control) 2 × 10 litres is a compact laboratory culture system for pasteurisation, maturation and final cooling under programmable control. Its white polypropylene housing, 10 mm thick, holds two chrome-nickel steel culture vessels of 10 litres each, complete with lids and stirrers. The touchscreen operator panel stores up to 50 programmes and covers pasteurisation from 10 °C to 99 °C for 1 minute to 100 hours, maturation from 10 °C to 60 °C over the same duration, and final cooling from 10 °C to 40 °C, with automatic saving of set parameters. Process water enters through a ½-inch hose connection; heating is provided by a chrome-nickel steel element, while a 15 l/min circulation pump maintains even temperature distribution. Mother culture bottles are supplied in Duran glass. An anodised aluminium underframe of 25 × 25 mm square tubing supports the unit, which connects to a 3~400/N/PE 16 A supply. Offered by manufacturer Aerne Analytic, the system is intended for food, dairy and biotech laboratories requiring reliable small-batch culture cultivation.

Questions about Incubator (Jumo-Control) 2x10 Liter

What is this article?

Incubator (Jumo-Control) 2x10 Liter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Aerne Analytic for laboratory use. It sits in Heating & cooling (other), inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

This shelf holds heating and cooling equipment that is not a furnace, a mantle, a bath, an oven or an incubator. The question is still the range, the stability and what the heat actually touches.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
