Description
Ceramic chamber furnace SNOL 4/1300 LSC01 is a high-precision electric furnace with a 4 l usable chamber volume and a maximum temperature of 1300 °C. It is intended for hardening, annealing, normalising and other thermal processing procedures up to 1300 °C. The solid ceramic chamber carries heating coils in grooves in all four walls, partially visible, together with a ceramic bottom plate. A microprocessor temperature controller (Omron E5CC basic model) ensures accurate regulation; the door opens sideways and includes a safety switch, while the control panel sits in the lower section of the unit. From manufacturer SnolTherm, the furnace is well suited to scientific laboratories, educational institutions, medical and industrial settings. An optional exhaust chimney can be added to limit release of process gases into the room. Key data include 3,7 kW power at 230 V / 50 Hz single phase, chamber dimensions 120 mm × 295 mm × 110 mm, external dimensions 440 mm × 615 mm × 500 mm, net weight 55 kg, protection class IP20, maximum heat-up time without load 140 min, temperature stability ±2 °C and uniformity ±10 °C after equilibration.
This article is part of Muffle & tube furnaces, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about Keramik - Kammerofen 4 L 1300°C
What is this article?
Keramik - Kammerofen 4 L 1300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
