Description
LabHEAT® Standard heating mantle KM-G, 6,000 ml, 1400 W / 230 V is intended for 6,000 ml round-bottom flasks with a diameter of 236 mm. The flexible glass-silk heating element is enclosed in a glass-silk outer mantle with a bottom hole of Ø 60 mm, combining close thermal contact with secure flask seating. Rated nominal power is 1400 W at 230 V AC, organised in two heating zones for staged energy delivery during heating-up and steady-state operation. Maximum heating-conductor temperature reaches 450 °C, supporting distillation, extraction and other flask-based thermal processes in the laboratory. A 1,5 m mains cable with Schuko plug, heating-zone switch and personal protection switch form the standard electrical interface. Offered by manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik as a single unit, the mantle has a net weight of 4,8 kg and a gross weight of 5,6 kg, making it a practical choice for larger-volume glassware on the open bench or under extraction.

Questions about LabHEAT® Standard heating mantle KM-G, 6000 ml, 1400 W / 230 V
What is this article?
LabHEAT® Standard heating mantle KM-G, 6000 ml, 1400 W / 230 V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
