Description

The LAUDA Proline Kryomat RP 4090 C is a bath and circulation cooling thermostat engineered for controlled operation from −40 to 150 °C. Modern microprocessor technology, an integrated cooling system, a high-resolution backlit graphic LCD with selectable display modes and an additional green LED temperature indicator support clear process monitoring. A fully electronic continuous PID controller manages internal and external regulation with temperature stability of ±0,05 K (DIN 12876). Bath volume is 32,0 to 44,0 L (350 × 350 × 250 mm), maximum heating capacity is 3,5 kW and the LAUDA Vario pump provides four performance stages up to 40 L/min at 3,2 bar, with rear and side connections, integrated bypass and an auxiliary pump for external circuits (M 30 × 1,5 A). SmartCool energy-saving refrigeration control, PowerAdapt, detachable remote console, EasyUse operation, SelfCheck diagnostics and a 150-segment programmer enhance usability. Air-cooled dual-stage refrigeration uses non-flammable HFC refrigerants R-452A and R-508B compliant with F-Gas Regulation (EU) 573/2024. Standard RS 232/485 can be extended with up to two further interface modules. From manufacturer Lauda, the unit is specified for 400 V; 3/N/PE; 50 Hz, measures 600 × 700 × 1216 mm and weighs 161 kg, and is supplied with bath cover, fittings and 13 mm hose olives.

Questions about LAUDA Proline Kryomat RP 4090 C Cooling thermostat 400 V; 3/N/PE; 50 Hz

What is this article?

LAUDA Proline Kryomat RP 4090 C Cooling thermostat 400 V; 3/N/PE; 50 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
