LAUDA Puridest PD 4 R water still is a fully automatic mono distillation apparatus with integrated storage tank, suitable for both wall mounting and benchtop use. The reservoir holds twice the hourly output of the still, and distillate is dispensed via a tap with continuous and tip modes. An easily replaceable condenser coil sits in the storage tank. A solenoid valve controls water supply; energy is saved by distilling preheated cooling water, and automatic shut-off avoids unnecessary water use. The still boiler is accessible for cleaning, with a CO2 degassing opening on the condenser. Electronic fouling monitoring of the boiler stops distillation and gives an optical cleaning prompt. After distillate withdrawal the tank refills automatically under electronic level control. Thermostatic low-water protection is included. Tubular heater, boiler, storage tank and condenser are stainless steel in a double-walled, powder-coated galvanised steel housing. Mono-distillate conductivity at 25 °C is 2,3 µS/cm at 4 L/h production; tank volume is 8 L. Maximum heating power is 3 kW, cooling-water use 0,8 L/min (min. pressure difference 3 bar, max. 7 bar).
