Description

Microplate 384/V-PP DNA LoBind® is a 384-well microplate with clear wells, white frame and V-bottom geometry, designed for maximised nucleic-acid recovery. Eppendorf LoBind® material ensures optimised sample recovery without surface coatings such as silicone, thereby reducing the risk of sample interference. Each plate offers a 140 µL well volume and is batch-certified PCR clean—free from human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. RecoverMax® well geometry minimises residual and dead volume while delivering excellent mixing performance. Raised well rims and a smooth surface support reliable sealing. The high-contrast OptiTrack® matrix enables up to 30 % faster sample identification and fewer pipetting errors. Available in matching formats as reaction tubes, microtest plates and deepwell plates for straightforward scale-up, these polypropylene plates from manufacturer Eppendorf are supplied as 80 plates (5 bags × 16 plates). They are intended for DNA and RNA workflows where low binding and certified purity are essential for reproducible results.

This article is part of Microplates, in Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes.

Questions about Microplate384/V-PP clear/white DNA 80pl.

What is this article?

Microplate384/V-PP clear/white DNA 80pl. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
