Description

Minisart® NML syringe filter 17598----------K is a surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) unit intended for clarification filtration of aqueous solutions and oils within the pH range 4–8. The type 17598 design offers a pore size of 0,45 µm together with a Luer cone outlet, supporting reliable clear filtration in routine laboratory sample preparation. The cellulose acetate membrane is free of wetting agents, helping to reduce potential interference with sensitive aqueous or oily matrices. Version K is supplied individually packed and sterilised by ethylene oxide (EO). These Minisart® NML filters from manufacturer Sartorius are available only in the EU/EEA and registered countries. Each pack contains 50 pieces, providing a practical quantity for daily clarification workflows prior to analysis or further processing. The combination of SFCA membrane chemistry, defined 0,45 µm porosity and Luer cone connection makes the unit suitable for aqueous media and compatible oils where surfactant-free filtration is preferred.

This article is part of Syringe filters, in Filtration.

Questions about MinisartCA;0.45 µm;28mm;sterile;50pc

What is this article?

MinisartCA;0.45 µm;28mm;sterile;50pc is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Syringe filters, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

A syringe filter is a membrane in a plastic housing on a Luer fitting. Pore size, membrane polymer and diameter are the three choices. 0.2 µm is the sterilising and the HPLC-particle cut. 0.45 µm is the coarser clarification. Aqueous and solvent-resistant membranes are different polymers.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
