Minisart® NY25 Plus syringe filter 1784C----------K features a glass fibre prefilter combined with a hydrophilic polyamide (nylon) membrane, designed for aqueous liquids and solvents in the pH range 3–14. The 25 mm diameter unit with 0,45 µm pore size is intended for reliable sample preparation and clarification. It is fitted with a male luer slip outlet for simple syringe attachment. Delivered as a non-sterile pack of 50 filters from manufacturer Sartorius, the devices may be sterilised by autoclaving or ethylene oxide when sterile conditions are needed. The glass fibre prefilter protects the nylon membrane and improves throughput for samples containing particulates. This configuration is well suited to routine laboratory clarification of buffers, media and solvent mixtures where nylon’s chemical compatibility is advantageous.
