Description

Minisart® High Flow syringe filter 16541----------K is a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter optimised for the highest flow rates and compatible with a pH range of 3–12. Type 16541 features a pore size of 0,22 µm suitable for sterile filtration and is fitted with a Luer Slip outlet. Version K is individually packed and sterilised by ethylene oxide (EO). These syringe filters from manufacturer Sartorius enable reliable sterile filtration of aqueous solutions in controlled laboratory environments. The pack size of 50 pc(s) supports aseptic workflows requiring ready-to-use sterile units. PES membrane technology combines elevated throughput with the retention performance expected at 0,22 µm. Individually EO-sterilised packaging ensures each filter remains prepared for immediate sterile use. The High Flow configuration shortens filtration times while operating safely within the specified pH window, providing an efficient solution for sterile sample preparation and clarification steps.

This article is part of Syringe filters, in Filtration.

Questions about MinisartPES;0.22m;28mm;sterile;50p

What is this article?

MinisartPES;0.22m;28mm;sterile;50p is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Syringe filters, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

A syringe filter is a membrane in a plastic housing on a Luer fitting. Pore size, membrane polymer and diameter are the three choices. 0.2 µm is the sterilising and the HPLC-particle cut. 0.45 µm is the coarser clarification. Aqueous and solvent-resistant membranes are different polymers.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
