Description

Muffle furnace SNOL 30/1100 LSF01 is a high-precision laboratory furnace intended for hardening, annealing, normalising and other thermal processing procedures up to 1100 °C. It offers a usable chamber volume of 30 l and a maximum working temperature of 1100 °C. The fibre-board chamber is heated from four sides by embedded elements, while thermal insulation panels reduce heat loss. Temperature is managed by a microprocessor controller (Omron E5CC basic model), achieving stability of ±1 °C and uniformity of ±10 °C after equilibration without load; maximum heat-up time without charge is 150 min. The door opens to the right and includes a safety switch, with the control panel located in the lower furnace section and a ceramic bottom plate protecting the chamber floor. Rated power is 3,4 kW at 230 V AC, single phase, 50 Hz. External dimensions are 645 mm width, 870 mm depth and 835 mm height; net weight is 100 kg. This furnace from manufacturer SnolTherm is suited to scientific laboratories, educational institutions, medical facilities and industry. An optional exhaust chimney can be fitted to vent process gases.

Questions about Muffelofen 30L 1100°C

What is this article?

Muffelofen 30L 1100°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
