Description

Drying oven PF 30 with basic controller R38 is a compact forced-air laboratory drying cabinet with a maximum temperature of 300 °C. Its chamber volume of 28 l and internal dimensions of 300 × 290 × 320 mm (H × W × D) make it suitable for smaller sample sets and space-limited benches. External dimensions are 470 × 665 × 470 mm (H × W × D). An air-circulation turbine supports even temperature distribution across the working space, and two wire shelves are supplied as standard. The unit connects to 230 V, 50 Hz at 1 kW. Temperature control is provided by the R38 setpoint PID controller for stable regulation. This model from manufacturer Carbolite Gero can be complemented on request with a CC-T1 single-zone touchscreen controller, digital overtemperature protection, a humidity package or a solvent safety package. Typical applications include laboratory drying, heating and universal oven tasks in scientific and industrial environments. What is this article?

Fan assisted Fan assisted convection oven PF 30 300°C, 30 litre, Fan assisted R3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carbolite Gero for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
