Description

Peltier-cooled incubator IPP30plus is a compact laboratory incubator with a nominal volume of 32 l and a working temperature range without light from 0 °C (at least 20 °C below ambient) to +70 °C. The set temperature range is 0 °C to +70 °C. It features TwinDISPLAY, one shelf, an outer stainless steel door and an inner glass door. An Ethernet interface enables protocol data readout, programme transfer and online logging, with a USB port on the ControlCOCKPIT for a USB stick. Multiple over- and under-temperature protection, an integrated data logger with storage capacity for at least 10 years and adjustment of three calibration values at the ControlCOCKPIT support reliable operation. A factory calibration certificate for +10 °C, +25 °C and +40 °C is included. Structured stainless steel housing dimensions are 585 x 704 x 434 mm and the stainless steel interior measures 400 x 320 x 250 mm. Voltage is 230 V/115 V, 50/60 Hz with maximum power consumption of about 140 W; this model from manufacturer Memmert suits precise temperature-controlled incubation.

Questions about Peltier-cooled incubator IPP30plus, 32l, 0-70°C

What is this article?

Peltier-cooled incubator IPP30plus, 32l, 0-70°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Incubators, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

An incubator holds the mild, even temperature a culture needs, often 25 °C or 37 °C, sometimes with carbon dioxide. It is not a drying oven. Uniformity and, for cells, the gas control are the specification. A flask of cells in a drying oven is a dead flask.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
