Description

Polyethylene-coated paper Grade LabSorb is an ultra-absorbent surface-protection paper coated on one side with polyethylene for laboratory and medical bench use. The absorbent side takes up liquids from drips and splashes, while the polyethylene coating on the reverse helps stop moisture reaching the work surface below. Typical applications include benchcoat, protective underlays and disposable cover sheets on laboratory benches, preparation stations and similar work zones. LabSorb supports clean, organised handling during sample work, reagent preparation and general laboratory tasks where disposable surface protection is required. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,215 kg, this pack suits regular bench coverage without excess bulk. The paper is non-sterile and intended for everyday surface-protection duties rather than aseptic procedures. From manufacturer Sartorius, Grade LabSorb polyethylene-coated paper offers a practical combination of high absorbency and a simple barrier layer for routine laboratory surface protection.

Questions about Polyethylene-Coated paper LabSorb

What is this article?

Polyethylene-Coated paper LabSorb is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Filtration accessories, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

Filtration accessories are the holders, the gaskets, the manifolds and the flasks a membrane or a Büchner setup needs. A holder for 47 mm discs does not clamp a 25 mm disc. The gasket is what actually seals.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
