Präzitherm® precision hot plate type SR is a digitally controlled laboratory heating plate with a 140 × 140 mm surface for work requiring accurate temperatures up to 350 °C. Supplied as a benchtop unit with a separate table-top controller, it provides 450 W heating power at 230 V AC. Asymmetrical, fast-response special heating, integrated heat sensing and power adaptation to demand deliver precise control and very uniform temperature distribution over the entire heating area. The plate is made of anodised aluminium; the working range runs from room temperature to 350 °C, with a minimum operating temperature of 20 °C. Connection is via a type F protective-contact mains plug. Offered by manufacturer Gestigkeit, the SR layout keeps the controller free-standing on the bench for flexible placement beside the hot plate. Compact dimensions, defined electrical data and even surface heating support sample warming, evaporations and other routine thermal laboratory tasks where a separate benchtop regulator is preferred.
