Description
Präzitherm® precision hot plate 350 x 350 mm is a digital compact benchtop unit for controlled laboratory heating up to 300 °C. The anodised aluminium heating surface measures 350 x 350 mm and is rated 2200 W at 230 V AC, operating from approximately 20 °C to 300 °C. Adjustable overtemperature protection and digital control support reproducible setpoints during extended runs. Through an asymmetric, fast-response special heater, integrated heat sensors, and power matching to the actual heat demand, the plate achieves precise temperatures with very good uniform distribution over the entire surface. Offered by manufacturer Gestigkeit as a complete table-top instrument with protective-contact (type F) mains plug, it is well suited to sample preparation, media warming, drying support, and general thermal work that benefits from a large square plate. The 2200 W rating assists efficient heat-up across the broad work area while the compact appliance format remains practical on the laboratory bench. Supplied as one piece for laboratories needing stable, evenly heated surface conditions on 350 x 350 mm.

Questions about Precision hotplate 350x350mm, as compact table-top device, 300°C
What is this article?
Precision hotplate 350x350mm, as compact table-top device, 300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Gestigkeit for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
