Description
The Präzitherm® precision hot plate 430 × 580 mm, type ET, is a digital heating plate without controller for laboratory applications up to 350 °C. The anodised aluminium heating surface provides precise temperatures with very good, uniform distribution over the entire area, achieved through asymmetric, fast-response special heating, heat sensors and power adaptation to the heat demand. Overtemperature protection is integrated. With a heating power of 3300 W for 230 V AC operation, the plate is intended for systems where temperature control is supplied externally. This type ET configuration from manufacturer Gestigkeit offers a spacious 430 mm by 580 mm working surface for vessels and samples requiring stable, even heat. Digital heating technology and the specialised heater layout support low gradients and reproducible thermal conditions when paired with a suitable external controller. Suitable for research and routine laboratory heating tasks that need a large-format plate without an onboard regulator, it covers the range from room temperature to 350 °C.

Questions about Precision hotplate 430x580mm, type ET, without controller, 350°C
What is this article?
Precision hotplate 430x580mm, type ET, without controller, 350°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Gestigkeit for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
