Description

PULVERISETTE 13 classic line disc mill 400 V 3~ 50 Hz enables batchwise or continuous fine grinding of hard-brittle to medium-hard solids. Maximum feed size reaches 20 mm depending on the material, with a maximum continuous throughput of 150 kg/h and final fineness adjustable between 0,1 mm and 12 mm at a rotor speed of 440 rpm. Material is comminuted by pressure and shearing between two counter-acting, internally coarsely toothed grinding discs; the externally adjustable gap, settable even during operation, controls end-product fineness. A precision sliding table ensures gap setting accurate to 0,1 mm for reproducible results. Dust-free grinding is supported by a vacuum-cleaner connection and cleaning is straightforward. The mill can be combined with the laboratory jaw crusher PULVERISETTE 1; motor direction reversal doubles grinding-disc service life. A central clamping lock secures the grinding chamber. Supplied as standard without grinding discs (available separately in three materials) from manufacturer Fritsch, the unit carries CE marking and a two-year guarantee. Typical application areas include mining and metallurgy, ceramics, stones and earths, glass and soil research.

Questions about PULVERISETTE 13 classic line Disk Mill 400 Volt/3~ 50 Hz

What is this article?

PULVERISETTE 13 classic line Disk Mill 400 Volt/3~ 50 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Fritsch for laboratory use. It sits in Mills, grinders & homogenisers, inside Test sieves & mills, in Lab instruments.

A mill, grinder or homogeniser reduces particle size or breaks a tissue before an extraction. The rotor and the sieve insert decide the result. A knife mill and a bead mill are different machines. The sample has to tolerate the heat the motor puts into it.

A test sieve sorts particles by whether they pass an opening. Wire mesh and perforated plate are two ways of making that opening, and the nominal size is not a suggestion. A sieve shaker repeats the motion so the result does not depend on how hard someone shook by hand. A mill or grinder makes the particles smaller before they are sieved. The certificate of the sieve, and the opening size, are what an audit asks for. Measurement practice around mass and dimension sits with the BIPM, EURAMET and BELAC.
