qpore® syringe filter with sterile hydrophilic CME membrane, 0,22 µm pore size and 13 mm diameter, is suited to sterile filtration, clarifying filtration and cell removal under sterile conditions. The cellulose mixed ester membrane combines very good thermal and chemical resistance with an excellent flow rate for efficient processing. A stable polypropylene housing resists pressures up to 5,0 bar, supporting fast filtration, while the low hold-up volume helps conserve sample. The filter is stable at pH 1–14 and free from DNA, DNase, RNase and pyrogens. Female Luer-Lock and male Luer-Lock connections allow several units to be screwed together in series when multi-stage filtration is required. Membrane type and pore size are clearly labelled on the housing to avoid mix-ups.
