Description

Reaction vessel, 10000 ml, DN 200, with groove and temperature control jacket with 2x GL 18 is a cylindrical laboratory reactor made from borosilicate glass 3.3. It offers a nominal volume of 10 l and is fitted with a flat flange DN 200 that includes a groove for reliable sealing. The temperature control jacket is equipped with two GL 18 threads and a removable PP olive of 10,8 mm; tangential tempering connections promote uniform temperature distribution across the vessel wall. The outer bottom is flat for secure standing while the inner bottom is slightly curved to support efficient mixing and drainage. Supplied as 1 pc with a net weight of 6,350 kg, this vessel from manufacturer Rettberg is designed for larger-scale temperature-controlled reactions, synthesis and process development work. Borosilicate glass 3.3 provides excellent thermal-shock resistance and broad chemical compatibility, ensuring long service life in plan-flange laboratory systems.

This article is part of Microcentrifuge & reaction tubes, in Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes.

What is this article?

Reaction vessel, 10000 ml, DN 200, with groove, temp.-jacket with 2x GL 18 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Rettberg for laboratory use. It sits in Microcentrifuge & reaction tubes, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

A microcentrifuge tube, the familiar 1.5 mL or 2 mL flip-cap tube, holds a small reaction or a spin-down. The cap style, the centrifugal-force rating and whether the tube is low-binding are the specification. A PCR tube is thinner and is a different article.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
