Savant™ SpeedVac™ SPD120 P2 vacuum concentrator kit is a complete modular benchtop system configured for lyophilization and demanding concentration of non-aggressive organics. It pairs the SPD120 concentrator with a −105 °C ultra-low-temperature refrigerated vapor trap, VPL120 high-vacuum pump, 40 × 1,5 mL rotor (RH40-11), universal tubing package (TFK100), digital vacuum gauge, chemical trap kit with color-indicator disposable cartridge for acids and water vapor, glass condensation flask, vacuum-pump lubricating oil and 1 L CryoCool heat transfer fluid. The concentrator offers a PTFE-coated chamber, radiant glass cover to accelerate drying, digital readouts of vacuum, temperature and time, automatic bleeder valve, independent heat and run timers, audible alarm and vacuum end-point termination. Six programs, including savable user methods, support basic molecular-biology applications with higher microplate capacity; a latched lid with lock indicator improves operational safety. Compatible media include acetonitrile, ethanol, isopropanol, methanol, water, aqueous mixtures and ammonium hydroxide. Typical work covers drying HPLC biomolecule fractions, evaporating purification solvents, natural-product extract drying and lyophilization.
