Description

ThermoMixer F1.5 with thermoblock is a combined heating and mixing instrument for 24 reaction vessels of 1,5 mL. It delivers efficient mixing up to 1,500 rpm and outstanding mixing performance through unique 2DMix-Control technology, while Anti-Spill technology helps prevent lid wetting and cross-contamination. The unit is compatible with the Eppendorf ThermoTop (condens.protect®) for condensate-free sample handling. Predefined temperature keys at 37 °C, 42 °C, 56 °C and 95 °C support simple, intuitive operation, and a fast heat-up rate of up to 11 °C/min shortens waiting times. Ergonomic use follows the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept. Electrical supply is 220–240 V / 50–60 Hz (EU/INT). Approximate dimensions are 390 mm width, 290 mm height and 300 mm depth; net weight is 6,300 kg. This ThermoMixer configuration from Eppendorf is supplied as one complete unit with the 1,5 mL thermoblock for routine incubation and mixing workflows in molecular and cell-biology laboratories.

Questions about ThermoMixer F1.5 w.thermob. 220-240V INT

What is this article?

ThermoMixer F1.5 w.thermob. 220-240V INT is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
