Description

Trinocular microscope IScope with Smart Light LED illumination is a laboratory light microscope featuring a rackless cross stage of 187/230 × 140 mm, EWF 10×/22 mm eyepieces, infinity-corrected plan objectives and a Köhler field diaphragm. The five-position nosepiece holds DIN objectives 4×/0,10, 10×/0,25, 20×/0,40, S40×/0,65 and S100×/1,25 oil immersion, giving magnifications of 40×, 100×, 400× and 1000×. A height-adjustable N.A. 1,25 Abbe condenser works with the adjustable 3 W NeoLED transmitted-light system and internal 85–240 V power supply. Smart Light LED control supports consistent illumination for routine brightfield work, while the trinocular tube with 360° rotatable head allows comfortable viewing and camera attachment. Offered by manufacturer Windaus in styrofoam packaging complete with dust cover, spare fuse and instruction manual, this IScope model is intended for teaching laboratories, quality control and general life-science microscopy where infinity plan optics and a rackless stage are preferred.

This article is part of Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, in Microscopy & histology.

Questions about Trinokulares Mikroskop IScope mit Smart Light-LED-Beleuchtung

What is this article?

Trinokulares Mikroskop IScope mit Smart Light-LED-Beleuchtung is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
