It uses SingleDISPLAY control and is supplied with two grid shelves plus a stainless steel door. Exhaust air flap and fan speed are each electronically adjustable from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps. An Ethernet interface allows readout of protocol data. Double overtemperature protection and an integrated data logger with storage capacity for at least ten years support documented operation; three calibration values can be set on the ControlCOCKPIT. A factory calibration certificate for +160 °C is included. The structured stainless steel housing measures 745 x 864 x 584 mm and the stainless steel interior 560 x 480 x 400 mm. This model from manufacturer Memmert runs on 230 V, 50/60 Hz with a maximum power consumption of approximately 2800 W and a net weight of 74 kg, suited to drying, heating and thermal processing in laboratory workflows.

Questions about Universal oven UF110, 108l, 20-300°C

What is this article?

Universal oven UF110, 108l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
