Description

Gas washing bottle base, 350 ml, Por. 0, NSK 29/32 is the lower section of a modular laboratory gas-washing assembly. Produced from borosilicate 3.3, the base contains a VitraPOR® filter plate of porosity 0 and terminates in an NSK 29/32 joint. The 350 ml capacity accepts standard washing volumes while the coarse porosity-0 frit permits higher gas throughput. Compatible with matching upper parts of the 3735* series, the component is supplied as a single piece from manufacturer ROBU - Stereon. Borosilicate 3.3 ensures thermal stability and chemical resistance during typical laboratory use. The NSK 29/32 connection allows secure attachment of the corresponding head, forming a complete gas washing bottle. This base is intended for gas scrubbing, absorption or humidification setups in analytical and research environments. Its modular design facilitates replacement or reconfiguration without discarding the entire apparatus, supporting flexible laboratory gas-handling configurations.

This article is part of Sintered glass filter plates & discs, in Filtration.

What is this article?

Washing Bottle lower part, 350 ml, Por. 0, ST 29/32 cone is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ROBU - Stereon for laboratory use. It sits in Sintered glass filter plates & discs, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

A sintered glass filter is a disc of fused glass particles with a porosity grade, often 0 to 5, from coarse to fine. It is cleaned and reused. The porosity number, not a micrometre guess, is the specification. Hydrofluoric acid and strong alkali attack the glass.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
