Description

Ecotherm E5 Version 2015 is a compact laboratory water bath for universal tempering applications. Fabricated from glossy white polypropylene (PP), the basin offers a 5 l working volume with usable dimensions of 230 × 200 × 125 mm and external dimensions of 355 × 258 × 145 mm. Maximum temperature is 95 °C at a control accuracy of ±0,4 °C; the stainless-steel heater delivers 500 W at 230 V/50 Hz and the instrument weighs 3,3 kg. Electronic regulation with a digital display, language selection and a timer for automatic shut-off allow use as a simple incubator, while an energy-saving mode reduces power draw when the bath is not in active service. A bottom grate is included and automatic safety shut-off is provided. This water bath from manufacturer Dinkelberg combines lightweight, durable PP construction with strong thermal insulation and a flat, edge-free design for everyday sample heating, incubation support and general laboratory temperature control.

What is this article?

Water Bath Ecotherm E5, bath capacity 5l, model 2015 Out. dim. (WxHxD) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Dinkelberg for laboratory use. It sits in Water & oil baths, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A water bath surrounds a vessel with warm water. An oil bath reaches higher than water's boiling point. The tank volume and the maximum temperature are the specification. A cover and a level matter, because a dry bath element overheats.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
