Description

e-Hive is a parallel electrosynthesis screening platform that runs up to 24 reactions simultaneously at constant voltage (maximum 25 V). Individual channel control is not provided; instead the system applies the same intended voltage conditions across all positions, making it well suited to early-stage reaction discovery and rapid go/no-go decisions. Promising hits indicated by formation of the desired product structure can afterwards be transferred to a single-vial attachment or carousel setup for further optimisation. The unit from manufacturer IKA is delivered complete with 24 outer stainless-steel electrodes, 24 inner graphite electrodes and 24 mini stir bars. When the set voltage is positive the inner electrode acts as anode and the outer as cathode; polarity reverses with a negative voltage. Additional inner and outer electrodes in other materials can be obtained separately. e-Hive integrates with the ElectraSyn 2.0 app when the latest device software is installed, supporting organised parallel screening workflows in synthetic and medicinal chemistry laboratories. Pack size is 1 piece with a net weight of 2,400 kg.

Questions about e-Hive, System for parallel electrosynthesis

What is this article?

e-Hive, System for parallel electrosynthesis is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH & electrochemistry accessories, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

These are the buffer-bottle holders, the electrode storage vials, the cables and the spare junctions. An electrode stored dry that should have been stored wet is a damaged electrode. The accessory has to be the one that electrode's manual names.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
