Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-16 ROTI®Star is a multi-component calibration standard with 15 components in 5 %. HNO3. Stated concentrations include Al 200 mg/l, Sb 5 mg/l, As 4 mg/l, Pb 5 mg/l, Cd 3 mg/l, Cr 5 mg/l, Fe 200 mg/l, Cu 2000 mg/l, Mn 50 mg/l, Ni 20 mg/l, P 100 mg/l, Hg 1 mg/l, Se 10 mg/l, U 10 mg/l and Zn 2000 mg/l. The solution has a density of about 1 g/cm³, a boiling point near 83 °C and UN number 2031. This CR-16 ROTI®Star standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH supports method setup, instrument performance checks and quantitative multi-element analysis in a nitric acid matrix. The compact HDPE bottle format facilitates safe handling of the acidic mixture during routine laboratory use and storage alongside other ICP-MS standards.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-16 ROTI®Star, 100 ml, HDPE

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-16 ROTI®Star, 100 ml, HDPE is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
