Description

Ion-selective ISE combination electrode "Fluoride" is a ready-to-use solid-state sensor for fluoride ion concentration measurements over the range 0,02–1900 ppm. As a single-rod combination electrode it integrates sensing and reference elements, so no separate reference electrode or filling electrolyte is required. The driTEK-Teflon integrated reference system enables immersion measurements in varied environments and even allows dry storage of the electrode. A robust plastic shaft and durable construction support reliable laboratory and field use with long service life. Part of the WinLab® series from manufacturer Windaus, the electrode works with any ion meter or pH meter that provides an mV range. When ordering, specify the desired connection version: S7 plug head, 1 m cable with BNC connector, or 1 m cable with DIN connector. Supplied as a single piece, it is intended for direct ion-concentration work without additional reference hardware.

Questions about Ionselective ISE Combination Electrodes ''FLUORIDE''

What is this article?

Ionselective ISE Combination Electrodes ''FLUORIDE'' is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
