Macro cuvette type 100-QX is a precision spectroscopy cell fabricated from Extended Range quartz glass for use from 200 nm to 3500 nm. It provides a path length of 100 mm and a nominal fill volume of 0,035 l (35,000 µl), closed with a glass lid, and is intended for reliable absorbance and transmission work on common spectrophotometers. Selected Extended Range quartz delivers excellent transmission above 83 %, supporting exact optical readings. Hellma precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and are thermally bonded rather than glued, giving high resistance to temperature and chemicals while reducing the risk of unwanted leakage. Bevelled edges improve safe, comfortable handling and help minimise chipping. Path-length accuracy and parallelism are held to tight tolerances so that measurement results remain continuously reproducible. The cells can be cleaned and reused over long service lives, offering a durable alternative for routine and research spectroscopy.
