Macro cuvette type 100-OS is a precision spectroscopy cell made from optical special glass for the 320 nm to 2500 nm wavelength range. It offers a 20 mm path length and a nominal fill volume of 7000 µl (0,007 l), closed with a PTFE fold-over lid, and fits common laboratory spectrophotometers. Selected optical glass delivers excellent transmission greater than 80 %, supporting exact absorbance and transmission readings. Hellma® precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and are thermally bonded rather than glued, giving high resistance to temperature and chemicals while helping prevent unintended sample leakage. Tight control of path-length accuracy and window parallelism ensures continuously reproducible results. Bevelled edges improve safe, comfortable handling and reduce the risk of chipping. After routine cleaning the cell can be reused over long periods, providing a durable laboratory option. Production follows EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets demanding optical standards for analytical spectroscopy workflows in research and quality-control environments.
