Filter housing equipped with a 10 ''filter cartridge (0.2 µm) used for ventilation of reservoirs. The filter is filled with hydrated lime to adsorb CO2 from the atmosphere, thus ensuring sterile aeration. The removal of CO2 is vital to maintain the high product water quality. The operational capability of the hydrated lime must be checked regularly. Saturation or replacement interval is indicated by a bluish discoloration.
