Description

Sterile detectable tweezers with pointed/angled tips are disposable laboratory forceps made of blue polystyrene (PS) for precise gripping and handling. Fine, smooth curved tips with angled pointed ends allow secure pickup and processing of fine tissues, small objects and solid samples without unnecessary force. A special additive in the polymer makes the blue plastic visible to metal detectors and X-ray systems, so foreign-body control lines can reject them even though they are not metal. Ribbed grips support firm, fatigue-free control during detailed work. Each pair is individually packed and sterilised, manufactured in a cleanroom (class 7) and intended for single use to help prevent cross-contamination. Overall length is 130 mm. Supplied in packs of 100 pieces from manufacturer Bürkle, these tweezers suit chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food-industry and scientific applications and are designed in line with EU food-contact and FDA guidelines.

Questions about Detectable forceps, pointed/angled, PS, sterile

What is this article?

Detectable forceps, pointed/angled, PS, sterile is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Tweezers & forceps, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.

Tweezers and forceps hold a small object so the fingers do not touch it. Fine points are for a cover glass or a grid. Blunt ends are for a wafer or a tissue. The steel grade matters when the object must not gain metal ions.

The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
