Codes are placed on three sides of the plate to allow flexible reading, and the ECC 200 error-correction function supports secure code recovery even when up to 30 % of a code is damaged. Further ID-specific plate information for documentation is available via the Eppendorf DataPort, with direct import into eLabInventory and eLabJournal® software as well as other database systems. Produced from high-quality polypropylene by manufacturer Eppendorf to support high sample purity, the plates are supplied as a pack of 20 (5 bags × 4 plates).
