Description

Nalgene™ rectangular amber HDPE bottles with 125 ml nominal capacity are space-saving laboratory containers designed to shield light-sensitive samples or dry materials from light exposure. The amber high-density polyethylene body features robust walls and a wide mouth that simplifies filling and access, while the rectangular footprint reduces shelf and storage space compared with round bottles of similar volume. Each bottle is fitted with a 28 mm opaque amber polypropylene screw cap that is linerless; the neck inner diameter is 21 mm. These wide-mouth bottles meet U.S. Pharmacopeia XXIII requirements for maximum light transmission, supporting use with photosensitive contents. From manufacturer Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics, the bottles suit general laboratory storage, sample handling and transport of light-sensitive liquids or solids. The durable HDPE construction and secure screw closure support routine chemical and sample workflows where light protection, chemical resistance and efficient packing density are important. Nominal volume is 0,125 l in a practical rectangular wide-mouth format.
