PRESTO W80t process thermostat is a highly dynamic temperature-control system designed for precise regulation down to −80 °C. Available as an air- or water-cooled unit with a two-stage refrigeration machine, it delivers strong cooling and heating performance for demanding laboratory and process duties such as reactor tempering and material stress testing. Efficient components allow extremely rapid compensation of both exothermic and endothermic reactions, while continuous internal monitoring and self-lubricating pumps support long service life. The unit uses a centrifugal pump providing pressures up to 1,7 bar and flow rates up to 40 l/min, with heating capacity up to 3,4 kW and cooling capacity up to 1,2 kW. Temperature stability is typically ± 0,01 to ± 0,05 °C. An integrated 5,7″ industrial colour touchscreen, Pt100 external-sensor connection, alarm output and extensive interfaces (analogue, RS485, optional Profibus DP) enable network remote control and integration into higher-level systems.
