It features a GL 45 standard thread that fits nearly all common laboratory bottle threads and includes adapters for GL 32, GL 38 and S 40. Safety valve balls inside the discharge valve prevent liquid leakage when the discharge cannula is not attached, while the pressure-equalisation valve cap unscrews easily for dry-tube mounting. The oval housing shape makes the instrument simple to transport, and the PFA sealing lip on the piston reliably prevents jamming.
