b.safe Waste Cap S40 is a screw cap for S40 threads made of PP-GF with a freely rotatable PTFE insert for convenient capillary and tubing alignment. This version offers two capillary connections with UNF 1/4" ports and PFA fittings for outer diameters of 1,6 mm, 2,2 mm and 3,2 mm, plus one milky-white PFA blind fitting to close any unused port. A stepped hose olive on an NPT 1/8" thread accommodates tubing with inner diameter 5,5–8,0 mm, while a GL 14 port accepts a b.safe exhaust air filter (filter not included) for controlled venting of waste containers. Colour-coded green, violet and yellow fittings match the respective capillary diameters and support flexible HPLC or solvent-waste setups. The freely rotatable insert eases routing after the cap is tightened on the vessel.
