b.safe Waste Cap S55 is a laboratory screw cap for S55 canister threads, combining a glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) body with a freely rotatable PTFE insert. Two UNF 1/4″ capillary connections accept PFA fittings for outer diameters 1,6 mm, 2,2 mm and 3,2 mm, enabling secure transfer of solvent waste from HPLC or related systems. Colour-coded PFA fittings are supplied as two green (Ø 1,6 mm), two violet (Ø 2,2 mm) and two yellow (Ø 3,2 mm), together with one milky-white PFA blind fitting for any unused port. An NPT 1/8″ stepped hose olive covers tubing inner diameters from 5,5 to 8,0 mm, and a GL14 thread is ready for a b.safe exhaust filter (not included).
