b.safe Waste Cap S55 is a screw cap for S55 canister threads, built from yellow glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) with a freely rotatable PTFE insert. Three UNF 1/4″ capillary ports take PFA fittings for tubing outer diameters of 1,6 mm, 2,2 mm and 3,2 mm, so multiple HPLC or solvent lines can be routed safely into a waste canister. The supply set includes three green fittings (Ø 1,6 mm), three violet fittings (Ø 2,2 mm) and three yellow fittings (Ø 3,2 mm), plus two milky-white PFA blind fittings to close unused connections. A GL14 thread is provided for screwing in a b.safe exhaust filter (filter not included), supporting vapour control during collection. This configuration from manufacturer Bohlender is intended for closed-system laboratory waste handling on standard S55 canisters. The freely turning insert lets tubing be oriented without loosening the cap. Supplied as one piece; net weight 0,102 kg.
