Description

Centrifuge 5430 R is a refrigerated benchtop microcentrifuge with rotary-knob control, supplied without rotor for 230 V/50–60 Hz (EU) operation. It offers broad laboratory versatility with a maximum rotor capacity of 48 × 1,5/2,0 mL, 6 × 50 mL or 2 × MTP and a maximum speed of 30.130 × g (17,500 rpm). Compatibility with 12 different rotors supports diverse sample formats in routine and specialized workflows. Ergonomic one-finger lid operation, menu-guided multilingual control (English, German, French, Spanish) and a large backlit LC display simplify daily handling. Five program keys give fast access to routine methods, while up to 50 user-defined settings can be stored. Automatic rotor and imbalance detection contribute to safe operation, and the Eppendorf QuickLock® system allows rapid opening and closing of the rotor lid. This non-automatic centrifuge from manufacturer Eppendorf is intended for separation of liquid substance mixtures of human origin and is designed for use as an accessory with an in-vitro diagnostic device in line with EU IVDR 2017/746 (EU-IVD). It is intended for indoor use by trained personnel. Pack size is one unit with a net weight of 55 kg.

Questions about CENT 5430R KNOB, WITHOUT ROTOR, 230V

What is this article?

CENT 5430R KNOB, WITHOUT ROTOR, 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Rotors, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.

A centrifuge rotor is the rotating part that holds the tubes, and it is rated for a maximum speed and a maximum load. A swing-out rotor and a fixed-angle rotor pellet differently. A rotor from another centrifuge does not belong on this drive, even when it seems to fit.

A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
