Description
Digital microscope set KERN OBN 135C825 pairs the OBN 135 laboratory microscope with an adapted C-mount camera for live digital examination, supplied as a complete solution with the matching C-mount adapter included. The microscope itself offers infinity optics, ergonomic design and professional Köhler illumination driven by a strong, continuously dimmable 3 W LED, an adjustable field diaphragm and a centreable, height-adjustable 1,25 Abbe condenser with regulable aperture diaphragm. A large mechanical stage with bilateral coaxial coarse and fine drives enables rapid, precise focusing of translucent and low-contrast specimens. The integrated ODC 825 camera uses proven CMOS technology with USB 2.0 for fast, clear image delivery and is suitable for more demanding modes such as dark field, phase contrast and fluorescence. Optimal synchronisation, high frame rate and stable image performance are supported by the supplied multilingual Microscope VIS Basic software (KERN OXM 901), together with a 2000 mm USB cable (bus-powered, no external supply), various eyepiece adapters and an object micrometer for software calibration. A dust cover, eyecups and multilingual manual complete the package from manufacturer Kern for routine and advanced laboratory imaging.

Questions about Digital Microscope Set KERN OBN 135C825
What is this article?
Digital Microscope Set KERN OBN 135C825 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Kern for laboratory use. It sits in Digital & USB microscopes, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.
A digital or USB microscope is a camera with optics, useful for inspection and for a quick shared image. It does not replace a compound microscope when the method needs a stated numerical aperture and a fluorescence filter. Magnification claims on these are often a screen magnification, not an optical one.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
