Description

Digital Microscope Set KERN OZM 544C832 pairs the OZM 544 stereo zoom microscope with an adapted C-mount camera ODC 832 for live digital inspection. Optics, illumination and digital tools form a flexible complete package, and the appropriate C-mount adapter is supplied. Within the OZM-5 series, the stereo zoom microscope delivers strong optical performance, an ergonomic body for prolonged comfortable use, and exceptionally strong, continuously dimmable 3 W LED incident and transmitted illumination. Large working distance, an extra-large field of view and brilliant resolution support colour-true, sharp images with high contrast and depth of field. Continuous zoom from 0,7× to 4,5× and a robust, variable column stand enable flexible, ergonomic workflows. The ODC 832 camera employs CMOS technology with USB 2.0 for rapid, clear image display and suits advanced techniques including darkfield, phase contrast and fluorescence. Optimal synchronisation, high frame rate and stable image performance are supported by the included Microscope VIS software. USB-cable power removes the need for an extra supply. The set from manufacturer Kern includes Microscope VIS Basic KERN OXM 901, a 2000 mm USB cable, eyepiece adapters, a stage micrometer for calibration, dust cover, eyecups and a multilingual operating manual.

Questions about Digital Microscope Set KERN OZM 544C832

What is this article?

Digital Microscope Set KERN OZM 544C832 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Kern for laboratory use. It sits in Stereo microscopes, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

A stereo microscope gives a low-magnification, upright, three-dimensional view for dissecting, for sorting and for inspecting a surface. It is not the instrument for a stained section at high power. Working distance and zoom range are the choices.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
