Description
Polarizer and analyser for Quantum Pro is an optical accessory set that enables polarized-light observation on the Quantum Pro laboratory microscope series. Fitted to the infinity-corrected optical train, it supports contrast techniques useful for anisotropic materials and structured specimens. Quantum Pro systems are binocular or trinocular (model-dependent) with a 30° Siedentopf-type head, 47–75 mm interpupillary adjustment and 360° rotation. They feature a reversed quadruple nosepiece with bearing-guided movement, 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X (oil) achromatic infinity objectives with anti-fungus treatment, a 140 × 140 mm mechanical double-layer stage with 75 × 50 mm X-Y travel and 0,1 mm Vernier scale, and coaxial focusing with tension control, safety stop and 0,002 mm micrometric accuracy. A centreable Abbe N.A. 1,25 condenser and intensity-adjustable S-LED complete the standard illumination path. Supplied as a single unit from manufacturer Labbox, this polarizer and analyser accessory expands the Quantum Pro platform for specialized laboratory and teaching applications requiring polarized light.

Questions about Quantum Pro polarizer and analyzer
What is this article?
Quantum Pro polarizer and analyzer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.
An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
