Description
UV-Compact 15 TOC is a compact ultraviolet irradiation unit for disinfection and oxidative TOC reduction in pure, ultrapure and process water. A single UV lamp inside a pressure-resistant quartz tube is housed in an externally electropolished stainless-steel enclosure (1.4301). Volume redirection supports high microbial inactivation and TOC breakdown at wavelengths of 254 nm and 185 nm. Rated water flow is 25 l/min at 1200 J/m² and T10 = 98 %, corresponding to the stated 1500 l/h class. Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar with a pressure drop of at most 0,1 bar; maximum water temperature is 35 °C. Lamp lifetime is 8000 h at 36 W radiant power; electrical supply is 230 V, 50–60 Hz. Process connections are 1-1/4''; water-connection spacing on the UV housing is 850 mm, overall height 1005 mm and diameter 205 mm. Installation may be horizontal or vertical; the control unit sits in a separate plastics housing linked by cable. Free height of 2100 mm is required for lamp removal. Net weight is 7,0 kg. The system from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies addresses laboratory and process water disinfection with integrated TOC reduction.

Questions about UV flow reactor UV-Compact 15 TOC, 1500 l/h
What is this article?
UV flow reactor UV-Compact 15 TOC, 1500 l/h is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Cold light sources & lighting, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.
A cold light keeps the heat of the lamp away from a living or a melting specimen, usually by a fibre light guide. It is the illuminator for a stereo microscope. Colour temperature matters when the image is photographed. A hot lamp over a dissection dries the sample.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
