Description
Deionisation module VMD is a full demineralisation cartridge intended for inorganic laboratory applications and for protecting downstream polisher modules by reducing inlet conductivity. As a consumable ion-exchange stage it lowers the ionic load entering subsequent polishing beds, helping to extend polisher life and stabilise product-water quality. The module is specified for use with Ultra Clear® RO DI systems, the LaboStar Pro series and LaboStar 10 RO DI units. It is supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 2,1 kg and a gross weight of 3 kg, and is listed as a deionisation module within the Evoqua ® range from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies. By placing conductivity reduction ahead of the final polisher, the VMD supports consistent inorganic purity in RO/DI purification trains used for general laboratory reagent water and related inorganic workflows. Facilities running the listed Ultra Clear and LaboStar configurations can integrate the cartridge as a standard service item without redesigning the purification sequence.

Questions about Deionizsation module VMD
What is this article?
Deionizsation module VMD is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Filtration accessories, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.
Filtration accessories are the holders, the gaskets, the manifolds and the flasks a membrane or a Büchner setup needs. A holder for 47 mm discs does not clamp a 25 mm disc. The gasket is what actually seals.
Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
