Description

InLab605/10M O2 sensor is an IP67-rated dissolved oxygen sensor fitted with a 10 m fixed cable for the DO meter SG6. The longer cable extends working distance between meter and sample compared with shorter fixed-cable variants, which is useful for larger vessels, tanks or remote measuring points. IP67 protection supports operation in moist laboratory and field-type environments. The sensor is offered as a single piece; net and gross weight are each 0,45 kg. Manufactured by Mettler-Toledo OnLine, the InLab605/10M configuration serves dissolved oxygen metering with the SG6 platform in water analysis, environmental monitoring and laboratory quality control. Fixed 10 m cabling avoids intermediate connectors and simplifies placement of the sensing element away from the instrument. Laboratories standardised on SG6 DO meters can adopt this longer-cable option where extended reach is required without changing the core sensor series. Durable construction and the defined cable length support practical oxygen determination workflows that combine ingress protection with greater spatial flexibility around the measurement site.

What is this article?

DO sensor InLab 605-10m is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Mettler-Toledo OnLine for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
