Description

LR 1000 basic System is a modular, expandable laboratory reactor engineered for optimising chemical reaction processes and for mixing, dispersing and homogenising in routine laboratory applications. The platform can be adapted quickly to the specific task without extensive reconfiguration, supporting efficient workflow changes during method development. It is particularly well suited to applications in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Medium temperature can reach up to 120 °C; a temperature sensor immersed in the medium regulates the heating beneath the vessel for controlled thermal conditions. The basic package includes a PT 100.30 temperature probe together with the matching holder for lid LR 1000.61, so essential temperature control components are ready for immediate use. With a net weight of 27,000 kg, the system provides a stable benchtop reactor base for synthesis, formulation and process-optimisation work. Offered by manufacturer IKA, the LR 1000 basic System gives laboratories a flexible reactor core that can grow with additional modules as experimental requirements evolve.

Questions about LR 1000 basic System, Laboratory reactor

What is this article?

LR 1000 basic System, Laboratory reactor is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
