RH basic is a magnetic stirrer with heating that combines efficient mixing with controlled heating for everyday laboratory work. Presented in a new innovative design, this economical instrument delivers a high heating output of 600 Watt. The heating plate is manufactured from a stainless steel-copper compound that ensures rapid heat-up times. A socket conforming to DIN 12878 permits connection of an electronic contact thermometer, for example the ETS-D5, allowing temperatures to be regulated with high accuracy directly in the medium. An adjustable safety circuit for the hotplate temperature covers the range 100 – 360 °C. Soft start of the stirring motor is provided, and an M 10 thread enables adaptation of a stand rod. A strong magnetic field together with a wide speed range supports stirring volumes of up to 15 litres.
